About the Event
Shaping the Next Generation of CRE Leaders
Formerly the NAIOP Real Estate Challenge, the CREDA Real Estate Challenge is a premier commercial real estate case study competition that brings together top student teams from leading universities across Canada to solve a real-world development brief.
Participants create a comprehensive, market-driven development proposal that integrates site analysis, market research, urban planning, design, financial modeling, and sustainability considerations, all within real-world time constraints.
Teams present to a panel of respected industry leaders, gaining direct exposure to professional feedback, mentorship, and meaningful networking opportunities. At CREDA Edmonton, education and talent development are at the heart of what we do — and the Real Estate Challenge is a critical platform for bringing the next generation into the industry.

Real Development Brief
Each year teams tackle a real Edmonton-area site, conducting site analysis, financial modeling, and development planning just as they would in practice.
