Advocacy Committee

Executes public policy and government affairs objectives. The Advocacy Committee ensures CREDA is the trusted voice for commercial real estate in policy discussions and works to advance industry interests at all levels of government.

Federal Advocacy Committee

The Federal Advocacy Committee exists to advance CREDA’s federal advocacy efforts by monitoring political and policy developments that impact the commercial real estate industry. This includes ongoing review of federal government activity, such as legislative agendas, policy announcements, and broader political trends.

Working in close partnership with Canadian CREDA chapters in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto, the Committee helps shape and deliver coordinated government relations and communications strategies that support CREDA’s national public policy priorities. This collaborative approach ensures regional perspectives are reflected in a strong, unified pan-Canadian voice.

Provincial Advocacy Committee

The Provincial Advocacy Committee exists to advance CREDA Edmonton Region’s advocacy at the provincial level through ongoing engagement on legislation, regulation, and policy developments affecting Alberta’s commercial real estate industry.

Working in close partnership with CREDA Calgary, CREDA Edmonton Region strengthens its voice through coordinated government relations and communications efforts. This collaboration ensures a unified Alberta perspective that effectively represents the industry at the provincial level.

The Industrial Committee represents and advances the interests of Edmonton’s industrial real estate sector.
