Our History
NAIOP → CREDA
In July 2026, NAIOP rebranded to CREDA, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, to better reflect the full scope of the industry it represents today.
Originally founded as the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, the organization has evolved alongside the commercial real estate sector, which now spans far beyond its original focus.
CREDA captures a broader, more inclusive ecosystem of professionals involved in all aspects of commercial real estate development, from investment and construction to brokerage and consulting. This new identity aligns with the organization’s mission to elevate the commercial real estate development industry and more accurately represents the diverse contributions of its members across all asset classes.
